The 2020 art show will be Oct. 3, 2020, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Bluff Park Art Show is held annually on the first Saturday of October. This FREE show has grown from 65 to more than 150 artists and attracts more than 10,000 people each year. Proceeds from the show go toward improving the arts in the greater Birmingham area.

Artists display their work from 9 a.m to 6 p.m. in the front of the Bluff Park Community Center, located at 517 Cloudland Drive in Hoover, Alabama. In addition to art, food vendors are scattered throughout the park. Hands-on art activities are available for children ages 3-8. Dogs are welcome.

There is NO PARKING at the site. Free parking and shuttle buses are available at the Bluff Park United Methodist Church, Shades Mountain Independent Church, Bluff Park Village Shopping Center, and Shades Crest Baptist Church.

Follow the signs from I-65 at Alford Avenue and Tyler Road.

Directions

From Birmingham.

Take highway 31 South, right onto Old Columbiana Rd. Turn left at the first traffic light onto Tyler Road. Go approx. 1.5 miles to Shades Mountain Independent Church.  Park in the parking lot on the right and catch the shuttle to the Park

 From Oxmoor. 

South on West Oxmoor, just past Mr. P’s, at the light, bear left onto Valley Street.  Park in the lower lot at the Bluff Park United Methodist Church and catch the shuttle to the Park.

From Hoover/Vestavia.

Highway 31 North, left on Old Columbiana Rd, then left at the first light onto Tyler Road.  Go approx. 1.5 miles to Shades Mountain Independent Church.  Park in the parking lot on the right and catch the shuttle to the Park.

From Highway 150.

Turn North/East on Shades Crest Road. Go to the three-way stop and turn right onto Chapel Road.  Go to the light and turn left onto Park Avenue.  Park in the lot at Shades Crest Baptist Church on the left and catch the shuttle to the Park.
